As aTechnical Service Representative,you will represent PPG onsite ensuring our Automotive OEM Coatings customer satisfaction by providing outstanding customer service; focusing your concentration in Color and Appearance control to their specifications. Be observant, anticipate potential challenges, and be responsible to both the customer Plant and PPG goals. Participate in Continuous improvement Team and problem resolution meetings with Plant Operations and Management!

Responsibilities:
- Support the ongoing activities of PPG onsite at customer automotive production facility and work with your customer to understand their concerns, collect data, take appropriate actions, and resolve problems within a timely manner.
- Ensure accurate reporting to the Paint process team.
- Effective communication with PPG Technical and Account management, direction of the PPG on site team activity, and to promote Health, Safety, and Environmental mentorship is always followed.
- Provide resolution to customer inquiries, application process monitoring, mix-room, consignment inventory, material ordering, and hands-on support.
- Follow safe work practices, with mechanical aptitude and communicate intelligently with technical, production, and non-technical personnel to satisfy customer requirements.
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma, GED, or Equivalent.
- 1-3+ yrs experience or related such as in Automotive Manufacturing, Spray-Booth, Automotive body repair/painting, Technical Training in an Automotive Repair program, two-year program in Manufacturing Technology or Engineering Technology, or previous paint-kitchen/general lab experience is ideal.
- Good computer skills including basic skills with excel (can enter reports and look up information).
- Experience interpreting and responding to customer queries and requests.
- Work well within a team environment to solve challenges.
- Can work 2nd Shift Monday-Fri (some flexibility of hours is available).
