Senior Financial Analyst, Direct Procurement at a Glance....

The Senior Financial Analyst, Direct Procurement - Packaging is responsible for forecasting, reporting, and analyzing the spend. This Sr Analyst will work with Procurement, R&D, Risk Management & operations functions to identify and resolve issues, find efficiencies & support cost saving projects.

What's on the menu?

  • Lead forecasting, reporting on packaging impacts on the business to inform BU decisions
  • Develop Annual Operating plan for packaging, as well as provide strategic recommendations against key financial targets
  • Provide support to Packaging Procurement team to drive understanding of cost impacts of procurement decisions and drive strategy
  • Provide Support to R&D leadership to help recognize and drive cost engineering projects and prioritize cost out initiatives
  • Work Closely with Risk Management team to understand Risk management strategy and help develop Risk management reporting
  • Partner with Ops/Plant Finance team to understand Ops driven costs and provide information back to the Business Unit

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, Economics/Math, or related field required
  • 2+ years of experience in a related Finance/Accounting type role
  • Advanced Excel skills, Hyperion and SAP experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills, self-starter, and ability to meet deadlines/balance priorities
  • Strong analytical Skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to clearly and concisely relay important details and updates
  • Passion for understanding consumer culture, interest, attitudes and trends
